How do you feel about Valentine's day?

This popular holiday meant to celebrate love - especially romantic love - and associated with flowers, heart-shaped chocolates and other gifts, often causes diverging opinions, from people getting excited about it every year to the ones who get irritated and dismiss it as a stupid commercial holiday. Where are you on the Valentine's day opinion scale?

1. It's an amazing day celebrating love!

21%

It is amazing that  we have a separate day in order to celebrate the spirit of love and appreciation. Love is a powerful force as well as a great thing in general. It should be observed in all forms. Does not matter is it love for a partner, friend, or family member. Just a nice reminder and additional opportunity to spend time with them and make them feel what they really mean to us.

2. As long as some people are happy about it, why not?

18%

It’s just a nice tradition of expressing love and making each other happy. Personally, I’m not really into these presents stuff. But as long as some people are happy about it, why not?

3. I honestly don't care about the whole buzz

19%

I don’t really feel anything - I honestly don’t care about the whole buzz.

4. Valentine’s Day seems to be discrimination of single people

19%

Valentine’s Day seems to be discrimination of single people, as they can’t celebrate it! That’s unfair! Besides, looking at couples celebrating can cause the frustration of people who have been single for a long time. Love and appreciation can be celebrated every day, why have a special date for this?

5. It's just another excuse for companies to promote their products and services.

23%

Valentine's Day is just like Christmas. Another excuse for companies to promote their products and services. But in this case, instead of Santa, they sell “Love”. People who are in a relationship are forced to buy presents and pay them money.
