Canadian company “Second Cup” has announced that it plans to transform its coffee shops into marijuana retail stores.

According to Financial Post, some cafes of the “Second Cup network” in Ontario (Canada) will be reorganized into cannabis stores.

Second Cup partners up were the company National Access Cannabis, which specializes in the distribution of marijuana. New stores will be opened under the name “Meta Cannabis Supply Co”.

The Second Cup is going to open more than 130 marijuana stores in Ontario and around 50 retailers in Manitoba, Alberta and British Columbia.

The Canadian government plans to officially legalize the distribution, possession, and use of cannabis on October 17, 2018.

Context: Canada has followed the example of Czech Republic, Spain, Portugal and Austria, Uruguay and 25 US states, and will become another country, which completely legalized the use of cannabis throughout the country.
